Manchester Marathon 2026 - Parkinsons UK
Tuesday 10th Mar
I’m taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life so far — running my first marathon locally at the Manchester Marathon 2026.
I chose to run in support of Parkinson’s UK because Parkinson’s is a disease that affected my grandad and which he suffered from. Seeing how devastating it can be for individuals and their families it’s difficult to accept that such a serious and life-changing condition still doesn’t have a recognised cure.
By taking on this marathon, I’m hoping to raise money to support the incredible work Parkinson’s UK does in funding research, supporting those living with the condition, and working towards a future where Parkinson’s can be stopped and cured most effectively.
Every mile I run will be for people like my grandad, and for everyone currently living with Parkinson’s.
