Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

My grandma fought a long and painful battle with Parkinson’s disease for 16 years. She was diagnosed at the age of 60 and was incredibly determined not to let her diagnosis put her down. She was such a fighter and she really did defy odds, but we sadly lost her in December of 2024. She was my everything, and my heart broke . So I want to run the marathon to raise money to help find a cure . Not just for my grandma but for everyone else suffering from this horrible disease.
