Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that means so much to me and my family.
Parkinson’s isn’t just a cause I’m supporting—it’s something that has touched my life personally. My wonderful Nanny, who sadly passed away in June, lived with Parkinson’s, and I saw first-hand the challenges the condition brought. My Dad is also living with Parkinson’s, and watching someone you love face this disease every day is incredibly difficult.
I’m running this race in their honour, and for everyone affected by Parkinson’s. Every mile will be for my Nanny’s memory, for my Dad, and in the hope that research will lead to better treatments and, one day, a cure.
If you’re able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I’d be so grateful. Every contribution will help Parkinson’s UK continue its vital work supporting people living with the condition and funding life-changing research.
Thank you so much for your kindness, encouragement, and support.
