I'm running for my lovely Mum
In celebration of my 60th birthday I will be taking part in the Great North Run to fundraise for Parkinson's UK.
My wonderful Mum has suffered this debilitating condition for more than 15 years, so instead of sending a card, please sponsor me instead! All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.
The last time I ran this race was back in 1994 with my Dad, my Mum meeting us at the finish line in support. It’s now my turn to give her a little support – I will be running this thinking of you Mum xxx
