Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Parkinson’s is very personal to me as my mum was diagnosed with the disease but died before she was able to receive advanced treatment.

Walkies for Parkinson’s Update: Challenge COMPLETED

Max here, I have had a very traumatic day. I got dragged out for my early morning walk in the pouring rain. It really wasn’t a walk more like a swim! ☔️ but as I won’t wear my coat I can only blame myself for getting absolutely soaked🐾😩
I then got taken for my regular groom where I also had my ears & teeth cleaned. Apparently I will now be able to hear when I get told off for being naughty!
And then this afternoon I COMPLETED the dog walking challenge for Parkinson’s when we reached our 60 mile target with a week to spare. I am feeling very proud but also looking forward to a rest.
Our walk was to raise money to help fund specialist care for people with Parkinson's so if you have a few pennies spare your support would be very much appreciated.
Love to you all
Max xx
