Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I am walking for my lovely Dad, who is living with Parkinson's Disease and in memory of Grandad and Uncle Chris who also had Parkinson's Disease.

I will be walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to fund specialist Parkinson's nurses.

Parkinson's nurses provide expert care because they only work with people with the condition.

Parkinson's nurses support people coming to terms with their Parkinson's diagnosis, help them to manage their medication and side effects, as well as make referrals to other medical professionals such as physiotherapists.
