Why I am fundraising for Parkinsons UK...
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Mum, my sister (Rachel) and I are taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 8th September to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s affects 153,000 people in the UK and is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. Though we know what happens in Parkinson’s, we still do not understand what causes it from the outset.
Parkinson’s UK does a fantastic job in supporting those with Parkinson’s and their families; educating people about Parkinson’s and providing funding for dedicated research towards better care and a cure.

As many of you know, we have been training hard this year with Ripon Runners and, despite some injuries, we are fighting fit and ready to race.
