My Why

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Many years ago my father in law was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, at the time I had little awareness of what this disease was or how it slowly steals life from those affected.

I believe that this disease is largely overlooked in terms of research and extra funding can only help with this. Although my father in law sadly passed this year, hopefully by raising awareness and much needed funding, less people will suffer in this way in the future.
