I'm running the 2027 London Marathon for Parkinsons UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK on Sunday 25 April and would really appreciate your support!
My sister Gill was diagnosed with Parkinsons at the age of 59. Within 18 months she is at Stage 5 of the disease and is sadly now palliative - at the age of 61!!
We are all devastated and stunned at the speed the disease has progressed. I naively thought that people with Parkinsons just had the 'shakes' and had no idea how devastating it can become.
Every donation will help, every penny will help make every step of the 26.2 miles worth it. For Gill and every one else affected by this cruel disease.
