Harry’s Great North Run 2024
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 8 September 2024 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
As many of you may know, I am running for Parkinson’s UK as my grandad, Don, had Parkinson’s for over 20 years. It’s been a while since we’ve done any fundraising for them and I want to support a charity so close to my family. My grandma, Margery, who I am very close to, looked after and cared for my grandad for all those years, as well as being a big part of running and organising the local Parkinson’s support group, giving people in and around Thirsk & Northallerton the support they needed, through such a tough disease.
I’m not much of a runner but The Great North Run has always been on my bucket list so I thought why not for 2024! It might even help me lose a bit of weight haha!
