Great North Run 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in my first Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

I am honoured to have secured a charity place with Parkinson's UK. I am running and raising money in memory of my grandma who sadly passed away in 2024.

Training for this run is also a personal challenge for me as I aim to improve my pace and overall fitness. Running for such a worthy cause feels like the perfect motivation.

Alongside the GNR, I will be completing other challenges to support my training (Stockport Daffodil 10k & Alderley Edge 10k). I will be updating this page with my progress along the way!

Please help by sponsoring my challenge. All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.

Thank you so much!! 💙🏃🏼‍♀️

Wednesday 28th Jan
On Sunday I ran the Stockport Daffodil 10k in 56:24 (Strava: 56:07). I hadn’t ran a 10k this fast since 2021 so was really pleased with my time and progress so far! 😄
