Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Hi Everyone,
This August, I'm taking on a 50-mile cycling challenge which climbs around the Trossachs to raise funds for Parkinson's UK, a cause that's incredibly close to my heart.
Parkinson's is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and right now there is no cure. It's affects movement, speech and so many everyday activities - but with your support we can help fund life-changing research and vital support for those living with the condition.

🚴♂️ Big week ahead!
Monday 25th AugThis weekend I’ll be taking on my charity bike ride in support of Parkinson’s. It’s been months of early mornings, sore legs, and a lot of practice miles, but I’m feeling ready (and a little nervous!).
Training has been a mix of long countryside rides, battling headwinds, getting across the windfarm and climing all nearby hills. The best part has been seeing support build along the way—it really keeps me going when the climbs get tough.
I’m proud to be doing this for such an important cause, and every mile I ride is for those living with Parkinson’s and their families.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s donated, cheered me on, or asked how training is going. Now it’s time to put it all into action!
