My Why
On the 7th of September 2025, I’ll be taking part in the Great North Run in memory of my Papa, David Holmes, who sadly passed away on the 11th of January after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Seeing the devastating effects of Parkinson’s firsthand has shown me how much more needs to be done to improve treatments and work towards a cure.
While I wouldn’t call myself a long-distance runner, I’m taking on this challenge to honour my Papa’s memory and to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s research. Every donation will make a real difference. Please consider contributing to this important cause.
