I’m taking part in the TCS 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK.
Around 153,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK and that includes my amazing Mum, Penny. Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurological condition meaning it gets worse over time.
It is now the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, yet understanding of its causes is limited; there are many misconceptions about the disorder, and there is no cure.
For these reasons the work of Parkinson's UK - to raise awareness, to fund research into effective treatments and to support those with the condition – is vital.
