Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Hello,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th April for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support.
In August 2023, I lost my Dad to Parkinson's and Dementia. He battled with these devastating illnesses for nearly 10 years and he is missed every day. This will be my first attempt at raising money for him which doesn't involve me sitting down... if you'd like to support, I'd of course be hugely grateful. No amount is too small.
All money raised from this fundraiser will help to fund breakthroughs and support the Parkinson's community. Having been a first-hand witness to the disease myself, I know how much of an impact this will make on the lives of people up and down the country.
