Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On Sunday 11th October I’ll be running the Bournemouth half marathon. This is in memory of my grandad who passed away from Parkinson’s disease in August 2022.
Someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s every 20 minutes in the UK today. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million. Which is why I’m running to raise vital funds for better health and care to fund research into groundbreaking new treatments and support services.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting Parkinson’s UK 🫶🏻
