Why I'm running
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I am running the marathon in memory of my Dad, who passed away in 2014. He had Parkinson's from a very young age but lived a fulfilling life for almost 30 years with the condition. Running for Parkinson's makes the event really special to me!
I also really enjoy running, it's great for fitness and mental health. I would really like to finish in under 3 hours but how I feel and the weather on the day will dictate that!

Good luck Gareth. Mum has been a great favourite at PUK branch meetings, bringing us her delicious jams, marmalades and chutneys. Let's hear it for the next generation of Hembroughs. Go Gareth!!
