Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m running the Cambridge Half to raise money for Parkinsons! This is an issue that is very close to me and has affected me and my family as sadly my Granny died from Parkinsons a year ago. I am hoping to raise money to help raise awareness for this disease and help research! This will be my biggest run yet! Any amount helps immensely and thank you for your support :)

Parkinson’s is a complex brain condition that has no cure and gets worse over time. It has more than 40 symptoms, from tremor and pain to anxiety. And Parkinson's is on the rise. Someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes in the UK today. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million.
