Running the Bath Half Marathon for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Bath Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
Parkinson's is a disease that has impacted my family greatly. My Grandad - Bill Brennen (see photo) sadly passed away in 2015 after battling the disease for nearly a decade. Bill was a great man and Grandad, he loved his sport, especially golf, cricket and running. I hope he would be very proud of me taking on this challenge.
In addition, a very good friend of Dad and I, is living with this incurable disease. His courage and kindness is inspiring.
Parkinson's disease at the moment does not have a cure. There have been large breakthroughs in medication in recent years, however there is far more that needs to be done. Please help fund this amazing research by sponsoring my challenge. Any donation is massively appreciated by myself and the whole community.
