Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This year, I’m taking on the huge challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK — a cause that means the world to me.
I’m doing this in memory of my grandfather, who passed away after living with Parkinson’s. Watching someone you love face such a difficult condition is something that stays with you. It’s a mix of heartbreak, admiration, and helplessness — and that’s why I’m running. To turn that feeling into action.
Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and there’s still no cure. But there is hope — and that’s what this run is about. Every step I take is for him, and for the thousands of families still facing the everyday reality of Parkinson’s.
Your donation will help fund life-changing research, support services, and the fight for better care. Whether it’s £1 or £100, it means the world to me — and to the millions impacted by Parkinson’s.
Thank you for your support. Let’s do this — for Grandad. 💙
