Great North Run for Papa <3
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I am taking part in the great north run in memory of Papa who lived with parkinsons for many years. The Great North Run is especially close to my heart because Gran and Papa are both from South Tyneside!
I'm sure Papa would have a lot to say about me voluntarily running any distance but I like to think he will be cheering me on - as we know running isn't something that comes easy to me !
I am fundraising as I have seen the impact parkinsons has on the person living with the condition as well as the family around them. Giving back to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition. I hope this money can make a difference for others living with parkinsons and get them the much needed care and support they need.
