💙
In 2027, I’m taking on my biggest year of running yet — all for Parkinson’s UK. 💙
In April, I’ll take on the Berlin Half Marathon, followed by the Copenhagen Marathon in May… and then in July, the biggest challenge of them all: 100km.
Parkinson’s UK will always hold an incredibly special place in my heart. My grandad lived with Parkinson’s for many year, and after losing him, I wanted to turn that loss into something positive. Running the London Marathon in his memory was just the beginning.
I’m now incredibly fortunate to work for Parkinson’s UK too, supporting other amazing people taking on challenges and raising vital funds. Seeing first-hand the passion behind the charity and the difference our supporters make has only made me want to do more myself.
So, 2027 is going to be a big one. Three start lines, a LOT of training, and 163.3km of racing — all with one reason behind every mile: Grandad. 💙
I’m excited, slightly terrified (especially about that 100k!), but so ready to see what I’m capable of.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean the absolute world to me. Here’s to another year of doing something I love, for a cause that means everything to me. 💙
Good luck ella, you’re doing an amazing job x
