Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Brighton Marathon 2026 for Parkinson's UK!
I have witnessed first hand how debilitating Parkisons is, after my mother in law was diagnosed a year ago. Since then,the fun loving nan to my two children, has become bed bound and very vacant. She cannot do anything for herself, and for us as a family, this is so sad to see. We have lost the nana that was the heart and soul of the family, and are now no more than carers for her. Sad isn't a strong enough word.
I'll be running the Brighton Marathon in April 2026 as part of Team Parkinson's to help us all reach a future without Parkinson's.
