Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m doing Walkies for Parkinson’s in memory of my husband, Andy, who lived with Parkinson’s for more than 16 years.
Andy and I were together for 35 years. He was a musician, a songwriter, my best friend and the great love of my life. Parkinson’s became part of our lives, but it never defined who he was.
So this October, I’m borrowing my two little friends Wallis and Peggy and we’re getting our walking shoes on little paws to raise some money for Parkinson’s UK.
Every donation, however small, will help support people living with Parkinson’s and the people who love and care for them.
This one’s for you, Andy. ❤️
