Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We sadly lost my dear Uncle Brian at the start of this year after suffering from Parkinson’s and Dementia for many years.
It’s a truly cruel disease that heavily affects everyone who is part of that persons life.
I’m not a scientist so have no way to offer help there but I am able to walk so that is what I will do.
On Sunday 21st September 2025 I’m taking part in the 6.1 Mile walk at Temple Newsam, Leeds.
I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.
Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.
Any donation, big or small, will help people and their families in many ways.
If you can spare a few pounds that would be amazing and very much appreciated. Thanks. X

Thank you!
Sunday 20th Jul Thank you to those who’ve already kindly supported this amazing charity. You’ve already smashed my £50 total and I am so grateful. ☺️£36 could pay for one hour of specialist nurse time to meet with a person living with Parkinson's, offering them advice and support to help them have a better quality of life.
£88 could pay for a Service
Improvement Advisor to build a business case for a new specialist post for an area where people with Parkinson's have no access to specialist care.
£350 could pay for a nurse to receive an education bursary to attend a managing
Parkinson's course for two weeks.
Thank you to my sponsors
