We have reached our target of 60 miles a couple of days late due to being away a bit more than usual for work. £295 raised which is over our target thank you to everyone who donated. Definitely feeling better for being more active. Thank you Ruby, Mike Fern and Ellie for walking with me too x❤️

Sunday 27th Oct
Tough life Ruby being a Jack Russell!, This morning Mike dropped us off at the end of the village on his way to Golf. Ruby and I walked home via Saint Mary’s Lane. on our way back someone had lost their dog so we stopped for awhile to help find Dexter who finally came running back. I walked this morning took us over our 50 mile point, which is great. 10 miles to get to reach our target. We walked from Ellie's house today round the footpaths to the pub for lunch and then home again. The dogs had a lovely walk playing and running in the sun.

Saturday 19th Oct
We had Fern again today for our walk 3 miles in the sunshine. Girls a bit muddy after the rain lots of scents in the air today. Lovely to see the sun today after the rain. 
Over half way now with our miles and over our fundraising target. Thank you to everyone who has supported so far

Nice to get out tonight

Friday 18th Oct
Been away since Monday for work so it's been difficult to get the miles in this week.
We managed 3 miles before it started to get dark.  We had Fern today too which is always nice. Here they both are modelling their new coats.
Our fundraising has reached double the target but we would love to raise more. 

Poor Ruby had to paddle!

Tuesday 8th Oct
We only managed a short walk as the rain was heavy. Ruby had to get through some deep puddles but was dry under her coat.

My first walk was special as Val is just starting ridden work again after 4 months box rest.
He was quite keen and we didn’t keep up. Ellie’s smile says it all. 

We are off!!

Ruby and I started out this weekend a nice walk over the fields with Mike & Fern too.  I am away for work 3 days next week so will find it difficult to do the miles on those days.  So getting the miles in this weekend.

Walkies October 60 miles

Wednesday 25th Sep
Ruby and I have signed up to do this walk during October we have set our target for 60 miles . 

I was diagnosed about five years ago with early Parkinson's and wanted to do something to support the fundraising. I haven't shared my diagnosis with many people as it came as a shock and took some time to get to terms with.

We will post updates of how we're getting on.  If you feel able to support our fundraising, that would be great. We will keep you updated on our progress.
