Why am I fundraising for Parkinson’s uk?
Hi! Just your average 45 year old dad to two amazing girls. Why the bloody hell am I running a marathon? You might think, but around 8/9 years ago my mum (mar) was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and very recently onset Parkinson’s Dementia. This is very devastating for such an incredible woman like my mum, who always puts others before herself and always focus’s on her family. This has taken a hard hit on on us all with my mum having the occasional fall which has resulted in some injuries making her incapable of achieving her everyday tasks. If I was able to reach the finish line of this marathon, it would not only change my life, but also my mars. If you are able to spare the odd penny or pound, this would help massively in me achieving this goal, many thanks to anybody willing to donate.
Anybody that knows me knows I am not a runner so this is going to be a massive challenge.
