Why I am fundraising for Parkinson’s uk
I’m taking on the Great North Run this year—something that’s been on my bucket list for a long time. I’ve done plenty of running before, but this one feels extra special.
I’m running in memory of my dad, who we lost to Parkinson’s, and raising money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that means a lot to me. They fund vital research and support people living with the condition.
Every mile is for my dad, and for the hope that one day there’ll be better treatments—and maybe even a cure.
All the best Dave, a really meaningful cause to help the miles fly by!
