Why I'm running for Parkinson's UK

My uncle was diagnosed with Parkinson’s over 10 years ago, and as a family, we’ve seen firsthand how tough it can be, for him and his loved ones. Parkinson’s UK has been a great source of support, advice, and hope throughout.

I’m running my first (and only!!) marathon in London on 27th April, and the support I’ve already received is greatly appreciated by the entire family.

Please support me if you can. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference to those living with Parkinson’s.

Friday 2nd May
Wow what a day it was last Sunday. Incredible support and an unbelievable atmosphere. I was delighted to get to the finish in just over 4.5 hours.

The support this page has received has also been a huge help - thank you!

Longest training run done!

Monday 7th Apr
Completed 36km yesterday at the Durham save the Rhino event. That distance made me realise how tough a marahon will be! The support so far has been amazing and will certainly motivate me on the day - thank you :)
