TCS London Marathon Saturday 2027

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m incredibly proud to be running the London Marathon 2027 in support of Parkinson’s UK.

I chose this charity because Parkinson’s has affected my own family. My wife’s Grandpa lives with Parkinson’s, and seeing the challenges that come with this condition has made me appreciate just how much support, research, and awareness is needed. Parkinson’s doesn’t just impact the person diagnosed—it affects entire families, and I want to do my part to help make a difference.

Parkinson’s UK is a fantastic charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Parkinson’s. They provide vital support and information to people living with the condition and their loved ones, fund groundbreaking research into better treatments, and campaign to ensure those with Parkinson’s receive the care and support they deserve.

Taking on the London Marathon will be one of the biggest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever faced, but it pales in comparison to the daily challenges faced by those living with Parkinson’s. Every mile I run will be in honour of my wife’s Grandpa and the millions of people and families affected by this condition.

I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give, whether that’s making a donation, sharing my fundraising page, or cheering me on throughout my marathon journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Parkinson’s UK continue their amazing work and bring hope to those living with Parkinson’s.

Thank you for supporting me and helping to make a difference.
