Hi thanks for visiting my fundraising page! 

Some of you might know, I'll be foolishly attempting to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Why! 

The inspiration behind this is simple, David Grundy, Beks Dad and my great friend Dave Jones from Isle of Man, have both been diagnosed with Parkinson's, both facing their own challenges, in their own ways and both showing strength and resilience every day.

They are both true inspiration... to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Inspiration

Tuesday 29th Sep
It was last Sunday, on a training run. I drifted, slipped away to another place. The legs kept on moving and my feet continued on hitting the ground and my mind disengage to ignore the fatigue.
My body wanted to know why my brain, thought a 10 mile training run was a good idea! My brain had no answer, and had to concede my body had a point, this was a bloody stupid idea... and then deep in the very back of my mind, a little voice said very quietly... It's not about you, you Nob, it's about helping people who face a daily challenge, that are far greater than a weak left knee, dodgy right ankle or a ruddy blister!
Now shut up and run!
