Why I’m walking for Parkinson’s
Friday 7th AugOn 20th September, I’ll be taking part in a charity walk to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
My brother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in his 40s. Watching someone you love face a condition that currently has no cure is heartbreaking, and it’s made me realise just how important awareness, support and research are.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Parkinson’s UK continue their vital work supporting people living with Parkinson’s and funding research that brings us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.
