Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I will be running in memory of my Ah Ma (grandma) who had Parkinson’s.
Seeing the effect that the disease had on my grandma hit hard and seeing the knock on effect on my family hit harder. With research and support from charities like Parkinson’s UK I know we are getting closer to a cure, all while supporting individuals with Parkinson’s and their families.
Seeing the effect on my grandma pushed me into the MedTech industry where I spent almost 3 years during uni working at a medical device company that created a device to reduce tremors for individuals with Parkinson’s.
