Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m running the TCS 2026 London Marathon in support of Parkinson’s UK, raising funds for vital research and support for people and families living with Parkinson’s.
While this isn’t my first marathon, it will be the most meaningful one I’ve ever run. This race feels extra special as it will be the first time I’ll have friends and family in the crowd from home cheering me on, while I raise money for a cause that’s so close to my heart.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps Parkinson’s UK continue their incredible work, and gives me that extra motivation through the long training runs and tough moments along the way.
In late 2024, a stress fracture stopped me from getting to the start line at the Melbourne Marathon. Although that was a huge disappointment after months of hard training, it’s strengthened my determination to come back stronger and healthier, and to complete the London Marathon in support of Parkinson’s UK.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey, I’m incredibly grateful for your support 💙
