Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

This September, me and my brother Will are taking on the Great North Run to raise money for Parkinson's UK — a cause that has become personal to me and my family this year after my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

To make things even more challenging, I’ll also be running the Loch Ness Marathon just two weeks later!

Parkinson’s affects so many people and families, and the support, research and care provided by this charity makes a huge difference. I’d love to do my part by raising as much money as possible while pushing myself through these two big events.

Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help support people living with Parkinson’s and fund vital research.
