Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
My wonderful, amazing Dad has Parkinson's disease, diagnosed back in 2018. This Parkinson's charity have and continue to help our family. I have always wanted to complete the London marathon and I cannot think of a better charity to raise money for!
Your mum, son or friend. Anyone can get Parkinson’s, young or old. Every hour, two more people are diagnosed.
Parkinson's disease is the fastest-growing neurological condition.
There are over 40 symptoms. Tremor. Pain. Anxiety. Everyone’s experience is different. And there’s no cure. Yet….
That’s why I’m fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. With your help we can fund
better care, drive research breakthroughs and one day find a cure. Please
help by sponsoring me with whatever you can. The money raised will help fund
ground breaking research and change the lives of the Parkinson's
community. We constantly live in hope for progress towards new
groundbreaking treatments, and this charity provides so much support to improve
life for those with Parkinson’s.

Wednesday 30th Apr Application submitted to Parkinson's charity for London Marathon 2026. A rough training plan has been decided and dates confirmed, fingers crossed for decisions in August! Nevertheless whilst waiting for confirmation of a space fundraising has started, my monthly donations have started, and profits from my vinted sales saved in my London marathon funding pot- which I will transfer across once place confirmed in August.
