TCS London Marathon 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!

We’re Parkinson’s UK. The charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.

We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.

Families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists, health and care workers. We’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.

Running the 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK

Thursday 21st Aug

In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon for the second time. My first was back in 2018, and after saying I’d probably never do it again, here I am preparing for round two.

This year I’m running to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that does vital work supporting people with Parkinson’s and funding research into better treatments. It’s a cause that means a lot to me and my family, as my grandmother lived with Parkinson’s.

If you’re able to support my fundraising, I’d be hugely grateful. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference.

Thanks for reading, and here’s to crossing that finish line in 2026!

Charlie, well done for taking part a second time in the London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK. We all know too well how much this means for all those people living day to day with the struggles of Parkinsons. You smashed through that wall last time and you’ll manage it again with an even better time now that you’ve had that previous warmup!!
