Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Running the Great North for Parkinsons UK
Friday 31st Jul Having run the Great North in 2022 my husband wanted to run again and persuaded me and his daughter to enter as well. Now with 7 weeks to go it is feeling very real. We are running for Parkinsons UK as we have friends and family who have the illness. This is definitely the only time I will be doing a half marathon! Any donations much appreciated. What an incredible achievement! Running a half marathon is amazing in itself, but doing it to raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s makes it even more special. You should be so proud of yourselves.
