Why am I doing this?
Friday 1st May I am raising money for Parkinsons UK because of my family's experience. My dad has Parkinson's and Parkinsons Dementia. Parkinsons UK hope to fund more health professionals to work with people with Parkinsons and their families. In the years since my dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons he has never seen a specialist Parkinsons nurse because there just aren't any in this area.It would have been so helpful to see someone in the months between appointments with the doctor who could have supported and advised us all. I would like other families to have this support.
