One Step at a Time: My First Half Marathon for Parkinson’s
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I’m running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK, a cause that is very close to my heart. Parkinson’s is a brain condition that affected my father from a relatively young age, so supporting this charity means a great deal to me.
I’ll be running alongside my daughter, Henrietta in what will be our first ever half marathon. We’re very much novices taking on 13.1 miles with enthusiasm, questionable training plans and probably far too much optimism! Those of you who know me will appreciate that this is pushing me well outside my comfort zone — both figuratively and literally.
If you’re able to sponsor us, whatever you can give will make a real difference and help improve the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s. Thank you so much for your support. Every donation means such a lot to us!
