On September, 13 I will be doing the Great North Run to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that is close to my family’s heart after my dad was diagnosed with the condition in 2023.
Me and my family have seen first hand how the charity both helps people with the disease and also the efforts they go to in order to try and conduct research in the hope of finding a cure.
After not being able to run continuously for two minutes at the end of February this is not something that will come easy to me, but I’ve never been one to do things by half’s (until now😂).
