Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On May 3rd, I will be running the Belfast City Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, an incredible charity that supports people living with Parkinson’s and their families across the country.
I will run this marathon in memory of my girlfriend Kerri’s grandmother Pauline Madden.
Pauline bravely battled Parkinson’s for 10 years before sadly passing on her birthday, 6th July. Parkinson’s is a cruel and progressive neurological disease that affects movement, balance, and everyday life, yet those living with it show incredible courage and resilience every single day, just like Pauline did. She faced every challenge with courage and with grace.
By supporting this cause, you’re helping to fund essential services, research, and community programs that make a real difference. Every donation, no matter the size, helps bring us one step closer to better treatments and brighter days for those affected.
Thank you for your support, lets make every mile matter.
