Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I have decided to run for Parkinson’s UK as both of my grandad’s have been affected by this disease. I sadly lost my Grandad Tony in September 2023 after many years of him living with Parkinson’s. My Grandad Colin is living with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s today.
It has been extremely difficult to watch this cruel disease slowly affect their brain functionality and mobility, so that’s why I want to contribute to finding an answer to Parkinson’s, once and for all
