5 years ago, I had to say goodbye to my favourite person in the world, my Grandy!
Parkinson’s started as a slight shake in his hand and eventually, sadly took over him completely.
Every year since, I’ve done something in my life that I know he would be proud of and in 2026 it will be to run a half marathon. I have never run anything like this before so it’s a huge challenge but 1 that I am 100% committed to completing.
I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
