Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Bath Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support… having worked in healthcare for the past 11years, I am very aware of the effects dementia can have on individuals and families - I hope one day in the future there will be treatments available to not only slow the disease progression but to reverse the effects of dementia. This cannot happen without the important research funded by Parkinson’s UK. After completing my anaesthetic primary exam, I am planning to train for and run the Bath half marathon, spending the weekend in Bath with my 2 sisters and my Mum. This will be a really special weekend and combining it with raising money for Parkinson’s UK will be the cherry on top. Thanks so much for reading and for your support. All the best x
