Friday 28th FebHello every one I’m Ben Hampson and I’m running for Parkinson’s.
My father was a skilled carpenter, someone whose hands have shaped and built with precision for years. When he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, it challenged his confidence and his craft but his resilience has been nothing short of inspiring.
To honor his strength and support those facing similar challenges, I’m running the Hackney Half to raise money for Parkinson’s research. Every step I take is for those adapting to a new reality, for those finding new ways to keep moving, and for a future with better treatments and one day, a cure.
