Great North Run 2026 for Parkinson’s UK

I’m taking on the Great North Run for the second year running in support of Parkinson’s UK, a charity that means so much to me.

Parkinson’s is a disease that has touched my family in a profound way. My dad has been living with Parkinson’s for the past seven years. Watching someone you love navigate the daily challenges of this condition is something that never really leaves you. Parkinson’s doesn’t just affect movement. It impacts confidence, independence, mental health, and the everyday moments many of us take for granted. It affects not only those diagnosed, but also the families who support them.

Every mile I run is for him and for the thousands of others affected by this disease.

I’m incredibly grateful for every donation, no matter the size. Each one is a kind gesture that helps fund vital research, support services, and hope for the future. Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support, it truly means everything.
