Across April to June im running some marathons in memory of my dad, Martin, who lived with Parkinson’s disease and passed away a year ago.
In April Brighton, May, Copenhagen and in June, Norway.
Parkinson’s is a cruel and relentless illness. It doesn’t just affect movement; it slowly takes away independence, confidence, and the simple, everyday moments many of us take for granted. Watching someone you love live with it is heartbreaking,
Doing this is from a really personal space. I run, with and for my dad — for his strength, his resilience, and the dignity he held onto despite the challenges it brought his way.
The charity I’m fundraising for does vital work: supporting those living with Parkinson’s, funding research, and pushing for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Their work offers hope
