Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Having run the TCS London Marathon in April 2024, I have decided to take part in the Great North Run again for Parkinson’s UK.
As you may already be aware my Nana (my Mum's mum), my Grandad (My Dad's dad) and My Dad were all lost to Parkinson’s Disease
Parkinson's is cruel, it takes a person away from you bit by bit until only the 'shell' remains.
I will be running the Half Marathon on the 7th September 2025 to raise money in memory of my lovely Nana, Grandad and Dad.
If you are able to make a small donation however small, I would be very grateful . All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.
Thank you
Have a great Geat North Run Ann!
