Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.
Living with Parkinson’s can be hard but one thing that has made it easier over the last five years is knowing my fantastic specialist nurse Tracey is always there to provide advice and support. She’s incredible at getting back to me quickly even though I know she has a huge caseload. And anyone I meet locally with Parkinson’s always says how lucky we are to have her there.
But I know others aren’t so lucky and have to wait months to see someone and get changes to their medication, and are left without crucial advice on managing symptoms. That’s not good enough. This support is vital so people can keep living as well as they can and keep doing what they enjoy with family and friends.
So please support Brody and I so other people without Parkinson’s can have a ‘Tracey’ too!
